Crash still happens in all Vulkan games, including Talos Principle, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Wine games like Wolfenstein II. Don't warn me again for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. may contain Nudity, Sexual Content, Strong Violence, or Gore. On a black screen I'm noticing some flickering, and then I guess in one of the opening cut scenes (BJ was laying on the ground) there were some super fucked up flickering artifacts going on. Just tried with 396.18.02 on Fedora 27 KDE. wolfenstein 2 CRASH after update :: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus General Discussions. Then open ‘Set launch options’ and specify: After this, when you start the game you skip the intro movies and you get a dev console in the game by pressing the key (the key above the TAB key).

It seems someone is going to have to either update the game or their drivers (again), because it just seems the game isn't properly compatible with Gsync. To enable it, go into steam, right-click the ‘Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Demo’ entry and select ‘Properties’. Relaunched the game with Gsync on and it's working with 1440p, but all the notifications in start up in all different languages were flickering. Every now and then when I ctrl alt del to the task manager, I see an error box saying something about Crash Dump.ĮDIT: Progress has been made? Apparently the game hates Gsync? I disabled it, and was able to changes my resolution without problems. Every time I change my resolution it freezes. I've looked at Steam and the Bethesda forums and people have suggested changing things in the Nvidia control panel, or set the settings on low, apply, then change your resolution, apply and then back to high or ultra.
